May favourites!

Hey guys!

So, who can believe we're in June already? This year is going crazy quick! However, as we are in June, here are my May favourites for you, enjoy!

First off, I have The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I love this book, and was reading it throughout the whole of May! I saw the movie before I read the book, and ever since I saw it, I knew I had to get the book version too! I cried at some of it, laughed at some, and just really felt like I was part of the book. If you have seen the movie, I highly recommend reading the book, you'll love it!

Next up are my beauty favourites.

First off, I have my Maybelline Eyebrow pencil in Soft Brown. I love this eyebrow pencil, and started using it more during May. It isn't too thick and 'gloopy' (I couldn't think of a different word) on my eyebrows, it feels as though there isn't any product on them! It makes them look fuller and thicker, and I just love it!

    

Next up is one of my new favourute things! My Nyx Color Lip Balm. I recently went on holiday to Malta, and whilst walking round Sliema with my sister, we discovered a Nyx shop! Obviously, we couldn't not go in, and even though it was a small shop, we spent a good 45 minutes just in awe over the products! I ended up buying an eyebrow powder (which I can't find *sad face*) and this lip balm. I have the shade Shukran, which is a very pale pink colout (I forgot to swatch it, sorry!) and it leaves my lips feeling soft, with a hint of a colour. I use this pretty much daily, and I hope to go back to Sliema soon to buy more!

One of my other favourties for May is my tangle tease. I don't have the actual tangle tease, I got this one from the pound shop! However, I love it! It stays in my handbag and goes everywhere with me. I use it all the time and I love it.

One of my most favourite things has been my foundation. I actually bought this because of my sister; her skin always looked so nice, and she told me it was this foundation, so naturally, I bought some! I love the way this foundation looks on my face, as it looks and feels like I'm not wearing any, but still gives me a lot of coverage! It lasts for ages, and unlike most - correction, all - foundations I've used in the past, it doesn't go patchy or orange on my skin.

This next favourite is something I've only started using recently. Its the mascara I got free with Company magazine in March (I think). I didn't like this mascara at first, but as I've used it more, it has become one of my favourites! I use it as a base coat for my normal mascara, and I also use this one on my bottom lashes, as my regular mascara makes them 100x longer than they are, which looks weird!

My final favourite is my Mac eyeshadow. My mum got me this when she went on a college trip to the Mac shop in Nottingham, and I just love it! I have the shade 'Woodwinked' and it is a gold / brown colour with a hint of shimmer. I use this pretty much daily on my lids with my liquid eyeliner on top, and it is a simple look, but compliments any outfit (or so I've found!)

OOTD :)

So I thought I would do a quick ootd whilst waiting to go to my cousins!

So today, I am wearing a long blue muscle tee, which I tucked into my leggings. I think this is from Primark, but I stole it off my mum so I'm not sure! I don't know where my leggings are from, but it's just a simple pair of black leggings, and then my green flannel shirt is also from Primark. I think this was around £12 but I can't remember as I bought it back in October. I am also wearing some black converse and then my jewellery is just an owl necklace from Primark and then a load of bracelets / wristbands I got off friends or at various gigs I've been too.

REVIEW - MUA Felt Eyeliner

Hey guys, so here is my review of the MUA Felt Eyeliner!

When I saw this in the shop, I just had to pick it up! I had wanted to try a felt eyeliner for ages, after my last purchase of one wasn't so great, and for just £3, how could I not?

When I first tried this eyeliner, I found it didn't go on smoothly at first, and I had to go over the same bit 2/3 times before it made it black, but I figured this was just because it was new.

After a few hours of this being on, I noticed it had transferred onto my crease of my eyelid, which was a shame because I really like this eyeliner.

All in all, the eyeliner doesn't really work for me, as I still have to do 2/3 coats to get it black, so for now, I will stick to my liquid liner. But who knows, I may repurchase this in the future...

Forever 21 and Lush haul!

So, on Wednesday, I went shopping to the Trafford Centre, and I picked up a few items there ^_^

First off, I went to Lush, as I had a free sample pot for an item there. Whilst in there, I picked up 3 different items.

The first thing I got was my sample of a face moisturizer, I haven't yet used this, but I am looking forward to, and hopefully buying a full pot of this!

The next thing I got was some Rockstar soap. This came free with my free sample, and it smells amazing! If anyone got their Snow Fairy body wash at Christmas, you will love this as it smells the same! I am extremely looking forward to using this!

The last thing I got was a Dragon's Egg bath bomb. This is my favourite bath bomb from Lush, and I pretty much get it every time I'm there!

Next I went to Forever 21! I love this store as it is very affordable and has some amazing clothes!

The first thing I bought was this gorgeous floral skater skirt. This isn't something I would usually go for, but the pattern drew me in and I just had to try it! I thought it would be perfect for summer paired with a simple white tee and some converse.

The second thing I bought from F21 was this muscle tee. I love the pattern on it as most of it is backwards, which is different than other muscle tees I've seen.

I love the colour of this tee and I thought it would be nice paired with some high waist shorts over the summer

I also bought some macaroons whilst in Selfridges but I ate them yesterday, aha!

So, the other day, I said I was going to post a review tonight of a product I recently got, however, I can't remember were I put it /.\

Hey...

Hey, so...

Sorry I haven't been on in forever... I've been busy with stuff...

I actually started writing out a blog post a few weeks back, but halfway through writing it, I needed to do something, and guess which idiot didn't save the post?

So, this is going to be more of an update post.

I will be writing a review of a makeup product I got recently, hopefully sometime this week, which will be posted either Wednesday night (because I'm out on Thursday) or Sunday.

I am also attending a bloggers meetup on the 26th of July in Manchester with Nicole (coleoftheball) and Emily (disneylandandacid), so if you are going, let me know! I want to meet some of you!

Also, I am thinking of starting up a twitter account for this blog, as I already have an Instagram account (@daydreamsandmakebelieves), but I'm not sure... thoughts?
